Should you find yourself caught in the midst of a Norwegian snowstorm or a Swedish blizzard (and let's face it, we've all been there), a Napapijri jacket wouldn't be too far from the top of your list of must-haves. For twenty-five years the brand have produced ultra-durable coats, jackets and jumpers, capable of withstanding even the most unreasonable of Nordic weather-patterns.
Now, in celebration of their quarter-century, Napapijri are sending an implausibly attractive couple (Rob and Jude, that's them at the top of the page) on a two month jaunt around Europe – from Rome to Paris to London to Berlin to Munich to Düsseldorf to Stockholm, to be precise. It's great fun for them, and of course it's an ideal way for Napapijri to subtly showcase this season's range of wonderfully warm outerwear, via all manner of social media streams.
The A/W 12/13 collection features a range of high quality, hardwearing pieces designed to protect against inclement weather. Clothes range from the high-tech – an insulating down jacket made with ‘techno fabric’ – to the traditional – a grey woolen duffel jacket with a quilted inner lining (see below)– but all could play a key part in your battle against the elements this winter.
Rob and Jude are in London for the next 24 hours before they jet off to Berlin - whilst they’re in town you can dictate how they spend their time. The current vote is to decide whether they should bungee jump or indoor skydive (yep, that’s a thing).
