Pamela Anderson is on a roll at the moment. At the end of last year she gave a lecture against pornography at Oxford University and now she's been chosen as the face of Vivienne Westwood's SS17 campaign.
The line is a collaboration with designer and husband to Westwood Andreas Kronthaler and has been shot by iconic photographer Juergen Teller, who said of the Mediterranean-inspired shoot:
"The island is Hydra, Greece, where I have a house. It seemed perfect for it. We liked the adventure of it… Vivienne, Andreas and Pamela are all just great people to work with. All three of them bring so much to the shoot. I love working with them. There is a trust between us and we explore and work quite freely."
The images see the 49 year old Baywatch star amongst other models in a series of rustic looks including a Wizard Of Oz-esque arrangement of straw and a donning what looks like a pink slanket.
Commenting on the campaign, Anderson said: "I love the apocalyptic feel when we shoot. A warrior comes over me and it feels like life and death. How will we survive climate change and over population? We may all become cannibals – or eat rocks."
Huge if true.
