We all need a helping hand sometimes, especially when it comes to picking the best pieces of clothing from a designer's bulging collection. And who better to help us than the person who made it all? That's why we got Louis Wong, head designer at APC, to walk us through his favourite items from their upcoming winter range.
1 'Art is for mobsters' T-shirt (top)
"An ironic take on the meaningless but moneymaking art scene as seen by A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou..."
2 Lambskin lined Corduroy jacket
"An outerwear piece inspired by classic Americana and country lifestyle for a post Nineties look. I wanted casual and relaxed winter pieces rather than luxury."
3 Military flannel shirt
"A mix between military classic shirting in wool fabric and fisherman outerwear (for example on the pocket detail). This season we worked a lot around various shirting details such as army, 50's,etc. I see heavy shirting as a great alternative to jackets. Again it's a more relaxed vision for winter."
4 Tweed jacket
"This is a typical 70s type Winter jacket in exclusive vintage Harris Tweed fabric. It's the only true preppy piece of the collection."
5 Fairisle ski sweater
"Traditional style Norwegian sweater, in a classic green and oatmeal colour palette. It follows the outerwear direction of the collection combined with a retro look. This piece is featured in our new ad campaign and is reminiscent of the style of James Bond."
