The collaboration - Tricker's and The Bureau

Far from strangers to the concept of the collaboration, it probably wouldn’t be entirely unfair to say that Tricker’s has been putting it about just a bit in recent years. With joint efforts with Junya Watanabe, PresentLondon and Sophnet – to name but a few – the English shoemaker has certainly benefited from the current resurgence of the heritage look.

The latest pieces from their long-time and ongoing partnership with Belfast retailer The Bureau have just been released, and though by The Bureau’s own admission, they are hardly reinventing the wheel, the pieces see a number of fine details and contemporary quirks added to the designs, consistent with the stellar reputation The Bureau has also built itself, albeit in a somewhat shorter history.

With suede and calf leather uppers and rugged crepe, commando and Vibram soles, the latest stuff certainly leans toward the casual end of the scale.
