Trend watch - vintage train driver

Monitaly, footwear company Yuketen's brother brand, has long been treated as the slightly scruffier side of the company but that looks set to change with the upcoming collection.

While some of the sportier elements remain - coach jackets and parkas make a comeback - there's a distinct smartening up going on, with blazers, waistcoats and bow ties all making a first appearance.

The problem, if we had to hone in on one, is that wearing everything at once can make you look like you're aping a Twenties train driver, although that's easily avoidable if you take an everything in moderation approach to wearing clothes.
