Despite Italy's strong heritage in tailoring and fashion houses, there's usually very little that fills the gap in-between. Camo are a brand that buck that trend.
Created by Stefano Ughetti in 2007, Camo originally received a rather rough ride in his native country, with his clothes not appearing to be high fashion enough or tailoring rooted. In fact it wasn't until he grew a following overseas that he started to become more appreciated.
As for the clothes themselves, if it were a UK brand it'd be placed next to the Oliver Spencers and Universal Works of the world, which is no bad thing. While their earlier collections were firmly aimed at a younger customer, their recent attempts have seen them smarten up a little, creating pieces that anyone could wear. We'll keep you posted on their UK arrival.
