There's something afoot. Johnny Depp, once one of the world's most sought after men, is beginning to look a bit ropey. On the promotion trail for his recent film, The Tourist, Depp's iron filing facial hair and Janet Street Porter mop lent him a rather tired, over-inflated look, wholly at odds with his sex symbol status.
That said, Depp could start dressing like Timmy Mallet and he'd still look better than the best of us. And, in fairness, we love the three piece suit he recently wore to the Spanish premier of The Tourist, so while he's still got it, here's how to get the look.
Though we like Depp's charcoal three-piece, we're particularly taken with this Peat Herringbone version by East London menswear brand D.S.Dundee. Designed for both daily wear and occasions where a smarter look is more suitable, the suit is billed as a "first step into tweed". Perfect for the bone-chilling months we've got left to look forward to.
Pair with this slim fit Gucci shirt in pale grey to complete the look. Leave the shirt collar slightly open and don this cashmere losange from Hermes alongside a pair of spectacles from Persol's optical range to lend the heavy tweed look a lighter, more contemporary feel.
