He's a funny looking little chap (by his own admission) with a wonderful collection of bow ties and he's also one of the most influential men in fashion, who will this year lend his unique creative vision to high street megalith, H&M.
Alber Elbaz has, during his 9 years at Lanvin, turned around the fortunes of the world's oldest fashion label, transforming it into one of the world's most coveted brands notably with the launch of Lanvin's menswear line back in 2006.
When we first heard about the upcoming collaboration, set to hit stores on November 23, our hearts sunk as we assumed it would be confined to the rails of the womenswear department. All fears, however, were allayed as it was announced yesterday that Elbaz will also be producing a menswear line. Elbaz said of the project, "this has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world."
