Pretty keen on Pretty Green

There's been plenty of air space afforded to one half of the Gallagher duo recently, and you can be sure that it's not been filled by Noel.

Liam Gallagher, the unflinching face of British indie for the past decade or so, has decided to temporarily shelve his guitar, in favour of his clothing label Pretty Green.

Inspired by the 60s, as is all in the Gallagher world, the modish brand has just opened a pop-up store on Carnaby Street, just a stones throw from Esquire HQ.

A sizeable space, the store features a few panoramic images of Liam himself moodily modeling his wares, amid a selection of props including a Lambretta Li 150 series 3 replica scooter. Mercifully open and bright, the store features a series of one-off pieces and staple items including immaculately cut jeans, multicoloured polo shirts, and - of course - a range of picture perfect swamp green macs.

The Pretty Green pop-up store is now open on 57 Carnaby Street, London. www.prettygreen.com
