What the web has been waiting for...

The world of online retail has long been the preserve of the fairer sex. That, however, looks set to change, as the brains behind leading online outlet Net-A-Porter have this week announced the launch of Mr Porter, a men-only online outlet.

The latest venture from Net-A-Porter founder and one-time Tatler editor Natalie Massenet, the site will provide a mix of labels including Dunhill, Lanvin and Margiela and garments from up-coming brands, alongside the occasional spot of style advice. Keen fashion followers however, must stick to stores for the time being, as Mr Porter won’t see its first clicks until January 2011 when the site launches with the Spring/Summer 2011 season.
