Over the past few weeks we’ve been scouring the streets of the UK in search of Britain’s best-dressed real man. The tour has taken us from the honey-hued avenues of Bristol to the brooding heights of Edinburgh, with stops in Cardiff, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Newcastle along the way.
This weekend saw the search move a little closer to home, with the team spending their Saturday prowling the halls of Harrods’ shiny new menswear department, snapping every well-dressed chap who crossed their path.
Thanks to the throng of tourists herding through the store throughout the day, the search was not quite as easy as we had hoped - but things picked up with the post-lunchtime rush, when the team managed to track down some of the most intriguingly dressed guys thus far.
While the tour may have reached a hiatus, the competition is now in full swing. The £30,000 prize - which includes a wardrobe of designer clobber from Harrods, a day in the store’s new men’s grooming lounge, a Longines watch, a foldaway bar from Esquire US, and the chance to appear on the cover of our October subscriber issue – is still up for grabs, so keep your photos, details and style descriptions coming in to firstname.lastname@example.org, you never know, you could be Britain’s next best-dressed real man.
