Shirts that will be put to the Test

The new England Test and One Day International cricket kits have been unveiled. Designed and made by adidas, they will be worn during the 2010 season with the Test kit making its debut against Bangladesh in May. Both kits will carry the new sponsor, Brit Insurance.

Adidas has deployed its leading technologies in the shirts to ensure that players keep cool under pressure and have freedom of movement in the field and when bowling. But what the shirts really require is a third technology that guarantees England will not suffer a second consecutive Ashes whitewash in Australia next winter.
