Despite its unrivalled pedigree, this summer sees the firm fully embrace the modern era by not only launching its own range of condiments - mustards (English smooth, French, wholegrain and Dijon), horseradish (creamed, hot and seriously hot), pickles (sweet baby beetroot, red cabbage), sauces (mint, cranberry and apple), chutneys, jelly and honey - but a new website which will start taking online orders this month.

That means non-Londoners will now get the chance to experience its traditional cuts of meat, poultry and game (plus a summer barbecue box) for themselves.
