An evening with Britain's bright young things

Esquire put on its inaugural 60 Brilliant Young Brits dinner at Asia de Cuba in London on Tuesday night, bringing together some of the brightest young talent from the fields of fashion, food, design, sport, comedy and the arts.

Hosted by Esquire editor Jeremy Langmead and Jeffrey Chodorow of Asia de Cuba in conjunction with the restaurant's 10th anniversary, guests including The Maccabees, Little Boots, Henry Holland, Andrew Garfield, Kevin Bishop and Felicity Jones rubbed shoulders over cocktails, before settling down for a lively dinner of the restaurant's trademark fusion fare, which included a contender for the world's largest banana split.

Things moved on to the neighbouring Light Bar, then downstairs to Bungalow 8 - before one faction ended up in a member of the Esquire team's flat until 7.45 the next morning (it felt like a good idea at the time). And despite still feeling a touch fragile, we're already looking forward to doing it again next year. Read the full Brilliant Brits list in our July issue, out now.
