Jamie Hewlett's Rock N' Roll T-Shirts

Jamie Hewlett puts Pete Townsend, Paul Weller and Phil Lynott on t-shirts – for charity

Between them Pete Townsend, Paul Weller and Thin Lizzy's Phil Lynot have engaged in their fair share of cartoonish behaviour.

Fitting, then, to find the trio of hard-living guitarists now depicted in 2D, their boggle-eyed likenessses crafted onto T-shirts by the hand of Jamie Hewlett.

The Gorillaz/ Tank Girl/ Deadline artist has spent his career joining the dots between rock music and graphic art, so he's a good choice for the project – produced in limited editions for Liam Gallagher's Pretty Green label, with proceeds going to Teenage Cancer Trust. (Hewlett did that charity's smart logo, too.)

"Jamie's designs are timeless," says Liam. "Like me." Well, quite.
