Trench Coats

The essential summer coat gets a new lease of life.

If this season’s cagoules leave you cold (paper-thin, bright yellow nylon isn’t for everyone), why not opt instead for a technical trench coat?

Designed by Joe Casely-Hayford in collaboration with heritage brand Cooper & Stollbrand for John Lewis, this version is light, perfectly tailored (it comes up nice and high under the arm), water resistant and finished with a splash of bright red and a strip of leather under the collar.

The shade, on the better side of beige, works with pretty much everything. And it comes in at just under £300.
