While Nike and Adidas might bombard you with technical terms, special foams and light-weight knit fabrics, Givenchy's runner offers a restrained aesthetic paired with high-end design credentials: the French brand's creative director Riccardo Tisci is the man behind their conception.

We probably wouldn't recommend hammering them on your pre-work run, though - unless, that is,  you've got another £420 in to splash out on a replacement pair.
