Jil Sander. It's a name which conjures thoughts of clean-lined clothing and bright blocks of clashing colour. It's a name which does not however, bring to mind electrical goods.
That's about to change, as the brand has just launched a new all-singing, all-dancing smartphone. The handset, based on an LG platform, runs on the all-powerful Windows smartphone 7.5 operating system and comes complete with wi-fi, mp3, 16GB of memory, touch screen, flash-enabled 5MP camera and a digital compass as standard.
What's more, the sleek, reassuringly monochromatic phone (complete with a flash of trademark blue) also includes an inbuilt Jil Sander app allowing you to browse past and present collections, shop online and seek out your nearest Sander store.
