Dunhill is currently displaying works by four leading contemporary designers at each of it's four homes. ‘Modern Craftsmanship’ hosts work by Max Lamb, Martin Anderson, Elisa Strozyk and Richard Sweeney, with each piece working on the idea of combining modernity with tradition.
Furniture designer, Max Lamb’s ‘Campaign Chair’ uses leather nabbed from Dunhill’s own luggage workshop and turned it into his ‘Campaign Chair’, while Richard Sweeney’s ‘Shell Forms’ (pictured) is crafted from the more everyday material of watercolour paper. Despites its humble origin, the sculpture produces precise and graphic results.
‘Modern Craftsmanship’ runs at Alfred Dunhill’s London home until the 26th February
