You'll probably be aware of Cindy Sherman. One of America's most important artistic exports (she was big in the Nineties), Sherman dresses up in wigs, stage make-up and outlandish outfits to replicate everything from on-screen idols to porn stars before photographing herself in character.

Tonight, Sherman unveils a selection of new work at London's Sprüth Magers gallery, featuring a cast of brand new characters set against a series of chocolate box-esque printed murals. Though, it's the characters, not the murals which are of most interest. Like a line-up from the new series of Little Britain, Sherman's latest creations include both a middle-aged dame and an unconvincing medieval soldier. What's most surprising however, is Sherman's ability to maintain her momentum after over thirty years on the scene. Cindy, we salute you.

Cindy Sherman at Sprüth Magers will remain on show until February 19.
