With the countdown to Christmas well and truly under way, Sony has entered into the spirit of the season by providing one of its latest eBook devices - the Reader Pocket Edition PRS350 - for one lucky Esquire reader.

Under its glare-free 5in touchscreen is enough room for 1,200 books (available to download from the likes of WH Smiths and Waterstones) and a battery that lasts a full two weeks' continuous use. And as the Reader weighs just 155g, you really can take this slim aluminium tablet with you everywhere - be a beach holiday in the Maldives or a festive stopover at your in-laws.

To enter the competition, email your name, address and phone number to online@esquire.co.uk before midday on 15 December, making sure you put ‘Sony Reader’ in the subject line of the email. Good luck!
