Naama Arad's Shredded Paper

Your workplace shredding documents? Don't throw away that paper just yet, it could end up in a gallery.

When we think of shredded paper, we think of workplaces. Actually, we think of movie scenes of workplaces – usually in a frantic scene where documents have to be shredded before the police break in.

Naama Arad sees something different, as she's used shredded paper as the basis for her latest exhibition. Entitled 'El Al', the Tel Aviv based artist used shredded paper and images of shredded paper to create what an art student would call 'interesting visual compositions'. And what we'd call nice things to look at.
