It's been a long time coming, in fact - to be honest - we can't really understand why it hasn't come sooner, but 100mb broadband has finally reached London, and it's all thanks to Virgin Media.
In celebration, the big red internet company are, for one day only (that's today) sending out a fleet of sleek black supercars onto the streets of London - all of which are recognisable by their traditional black cab signage. The cars - an Aston Martin DBS, a Porsche Carrera, and an unspecified Ferrari - can all be hailed for free throughout the day, so be sure to catch one if you see one.
Our contributing editor managed to blag a lift into Esquire HQ first thing this morning, but due to his proximity to the office the Aston Martin definitely didn't have a chance to stretch its ridiculously powerful legs. If you're lucky enough to grab one today, we'd advise you make it outside the M25 (preferably as far as Bristol, or the like) to ensure that proper supercar experience.
