The London Design Festival is upon us once again, and this year we've spoken to some of the biggest names on the British scene, to provide you with our ultimate guide to good design.

First up is Peter Marigold, the RCA graduate and innovative British furniture designer who, for the past few years, has been building a name for himself with his award-winning range of pared-down creations.

Later this week we'll be posting interviews with an array of British stars, including up-and-coming lighting designer Lee Broom, multi award-winning designer Max Lamb, Esquire favourite Stuart Haygarth and this year's London Design Medal winner Thomas Heatherwick - so watch this space to collect the full set.
