There's a special place in our hearts for Rankin. The photographer responsible for shots of some of our biggest cover stars - including Jay Z, Michelle Pfeiffer and Ricky Gervais - Rankin opened an exhibition of portraits at the Annroy Gallery in Kentish Town on Friday. The show marks Rankin's second exhibition in the space this year, after Esquire helped celebrate the launch of his Cheeky exhibition back in March.
Accompanied by a specially produced tome, Portraits by Rankin, the exhibition brings together some of the photographer's most famous portraits from the past twenty years, including shots of the Queen, Kylie and Kate - providing a welcome counterpoint to close-ups of Gordon, Blair and Gorbachev.
"Portraits by Rankin" is available from Turnaround UK for £40. The exhibition of work is now on until July 18 at the Annroy Gallery, 110-114 Grafton Road, Kentish Town, London.
