The latest commissions to be installed at Jupiter Artland, the sculpture park in Bonnington House, near Edinburgh, have recently been revealed. They include Cornelia Parker's oversized shotgun (right), and Jim Lambie's temporary floor piece in his trademark vinyl tape, and are further proof that Jupiter Artland is a space with big ambitions.
The sculpture garden is the brainchild of Nicky Wilson, who bought the Bonnington Estate with her husband Robert in 1999. She already has works by Anish Kapoor, Antony Gormley, Andy Goldsworthy and Marc Quinn (among others). This year's five new commissions include the two works above, another exterior Lambie piece, an installation of tulips by the exciting young Scottish artist Peter Liversidge, and "In Memory", an enclosure of anonymous graves by Nathan Coley (below).
