Yes, it is beautiful isn't it. We're big fans of Tokyobike, the innovative Japanese company that produces these simple yet stunning bicycles - and think you will be too.

As part of Clerkenwell Design Week, Peter Murray, Director of The London Festival of Architecture, will give design enthusiasts a chance to try out these uber stylish two-wheelers on a cycle tour of London's creative quarter.

"These guided tours are all about enjoying the ride, exploring the city and the freedom that goes with it," explains Tokyobikes' Founding Director Ichiro Kanai, who set up the company in the Tokyo suburb of Yanaka. During the three-day design festival, the bikes, which are made from Cr-Mo steel and feature thinner than standard 650mm wheels, will be showcased at The Farmiloe Building on St Johns Street.

But do not despair if you cannot make it down to Clerkenwell this week (the Design Festival runs from May 25-27) as Tokyobike is opening a pop-up store in East London in July. For m0re information, go to www.tokyobike.co.uk
