It's not unusual for us at Esquire to be found praising how well Italians dress, but it's easy to forget that they know a thing or two about design as well. To recognise this fact, Peroni Nastro Azzurro and London's Design Museum have collaborated on a series of talks entitled ‘Made in Italy - The influence of Italian Design”, which kicks off in May.
Each evening talk will bring together the most prominent names in Italian contemporary design to take a closer look at what makes the country tick as a creative force, whether it be in cars, product design or architecture.
There are three London talks, (5, 10, 20 May) followed by one in Brighton (12 May) and one in Glasgow (18 May) – all chaired and curated by Design Museum Director Deyan Sudjic. For details of each seminar, visit www.peroniitaly.com
