Granted, it's a bit late in the summer to be making barbecue recommendations, but having recently sampled the Fortnum & Mason Mayfair range, we can only declare it a suitably high-end way to mark the close of al fresco cooking season this weekend. As you might expect from F&M, the range takes things up a notch from standard BBQ fare, with highlights including Highgrove organic burgers (£1.50), the cumberland catherine wheel (£12 - and it's huge), fish kebabs (£12 per kilo) and spatchcock gremolata poussin (£9 each). Even better, they've all been prepped and seasoned by Fortnum's house butcher.
