What is it with Mancunians and parades? First we had Jeremy Deller&aposs majestic Procession, part of the Manchester International Festival in July, and now Ian Brown&aposs getting in on the action. King Monkey has recruited drummers, trumpeters and flag-wavers to march behind him (obviously they&aposre the only ones marching - Brown&aposs doing his usual wide-boy, tracky-bum bowl) in the video for his magnificent new track "Stellify". To be honest, it&aposs not quite as ambitious as Deller&aposs efforts, but Brown&aposs boys do have one hell of a soundtrack. And some rather nice hats.
"Stellify" is available on iTunes now, and released as a single on 21 September. Ian Brown&aposs new album, My Way, is out on 28 September on Fiction.
