As the yachty set don their deck shoes, and head to Cowes for a week of racing/drinking, we've been raising a glass to their atheletic enterprises in the form of Talisker's whisky cocktail. Nautical but nice.
Ingredients 40ml Talisker 10-year-old, 20ml fresh lime juice, 15ml Orange Curacao, 10 -15 mint leaves, ginger beer
Method Slap the mint leaves and drop into a large high ball glass, add Talisker, lime juice and Orange Curacao. Fill glass with ice and top with ginger beer.
Stir vigorously and garnish with two large mint sprigs.
