A reminder that the Deutsche Borse Photography Prize is running until April 12 at the Photographer's Gallery in London. And our favourite is Taryn Simon's An American Index of the Hidden and Unfamiliar, a portfolio four years in the making.
Shot on medium format film and painstakingly lit and arranged, each photograph (three more from Simon below) is accompanied by detailed information in the style of museum exhibits. The winner will be announced from a four person shortlist that also features Paul Graham, Tod Papageorge Emily Jacir on March 25. Go and see for yourself.
