We’re pretty serious fans of illustrator Noma Bar’s work, although, given he contributes to this title, we may not be the most impartial.
Bar’s illustrations, which mix bold graphics with subtle political and social commentary, regularly fill the pages of Esquire, including the Spock image above which featured on an Esquire subscriber cover – you can see some examples here.
On June 9th, some brand new prints from Bar and that of several other artists, including Kristjana S Williams, Patrick Thomas and Ugo Gattoni, at the Art Car Boot Fair on Brick Lane. The work will also be on show at the Affordable Art Fair in Hampstead the following week – from 13-16th of June.
Will Ramsay started the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea in 1999, wanting to satisfy the growing interest in the London gallery scene. Stemming from the idea that art should be more accessible, the Fair has since spread across the world to New York, Miami, Asia and Hong Kong.
