Though it’s decidedly a compact, this beast is no chump under the hood: the super-fast lens (f/1.4, for lens fiends) will punch-up your low-light and action snaps nicely. If you’re a diehard for the tactile, you’ll be glad to see that a touchscreen has been passed up for dials and clickers.
Really, this is the Leica charm: harking back to a slower, more deliberate era of photography – without sacrificing any firepower. So, while you can still hit the pavement and take full-manual exposures, you’re only a few clicks away from, say, full-HD video recording. Brilliant.
