Having completed 3,404km in three weeks, survived bumps, collisions and attacks from his rivals in 21 stages, and patiently endured the ongoing press circus with his reputation as a thoroughly decent chap still intact, Chris Froome has certainly earnt his Tour de France triumph.

If you think he has a holiday in the Maldives booked as a reward, he's actually off to "warm down" with some 100km circuits on his bike. In Belgium.

Still, at least he has some new material benefits for his Tour win (to go with the bunch of flowers, cuddly toy and slightly odd glassware he recieved on the podium) in the shape of a one-off Jaguar F-Type.

Jaguar has been part of Team Sky operations in 2013, with the XF Sportbrake the team’s official support vehicle throughout the race.

So to mark this year's success, Jag donated the car, which features photos taken by fans as part of the #GetBehindTeamSky Twitter campaign on the yellow central stripe, to Froome outside his hotel in Paris yesterday.

As perks go, it's one of the better ones. (We're assuming he already gets the full Sky Sports package.)
