Labour and Wait describes itself as a “household goods” store, but it’s so much more.
The shop, in London’s Shoreditch, sells a carefully curated range of utilitarian items: aluminium dustpans and brushes (£20), enamel lampshades (£45), wooden nail brushes (£11), and so on. Eschewing the “vintage” tag, Labour and Wait prefers “timeless”. (They’ve been selling the same stuff since 2000, so they’re probably onto something.)
