In the eyes of the law at least, mobile phones and cars have made uneasy bedfellows.

But Blackberry latest partnership shrugs off such associations to bring you a handset inspired by Porsche.

And like a Porsche, it's luxurious, full of cool features and a lot of fun to show off – even if the price makes your eyes water.

The Porsche Design Blackberry p’9982 features a satin finished frame forged from stainless steel, with a hand-wrapped genuine Italian leather backplate. A small detail perhaps, but bound to make you think twice before carelessly stuffing your phone in your briefcase or jacket pocket.

This coal-black and silver handset comes equipped with everything you need, including a polishing cloth, because frankly, smudges and fingerprints would be painful to see sullying its 4.2” touch display.

£1,400, available at Harrods and Blackberry
