What would happen if you whacked a motor in a unicycle?
This one-wheeled 'microcycle' – probably the best circus-inspired vehicle we've ever seen – is the creation of US innovators Ryno Motors.
Like the one-wheel electronic skateboard before it, you drive the microcycle by intuition, using your weight to steer and accelerate.
A great way to navigate a busy city, it reaches top speeds of 10MPH and can be taken on roads or pavements.
Plus it runs on electricity, meaning it has a tiny carbon footprint.
Yet another promising alternative to staring over the yellow line into the rat infested abyss while you wait for the Northern line home at rush hour – good work, technology.
