Cycling enthusiasts and inner-city commuters: this bike could change your life.

Called a JIVE bike, it's the world's first folding, chainless electric bicycle.

Created by UCL graduate Marcin Piatkowski, it reaches top speeds of 15.6mph and you can cycle 20 miles before it needs to be recharged.

And thanks to the slick aluminimum frame, it only weighs 15kg even with the batteries and motor.

The best part? It folds down to a size of a small suitcase, meaning you'll no longer get the 'death stare' when you take it in the office lift.  Win.

The bicycle is retailing at £1500 including VAT. Estimated shipping date is late summer 2014.
