In a further blurring of the line between social networking and, well, living, it will soon be possible to view the world in a perpetual Instagram-style hue thanks to a new pair of sunglasses.

Sure to have baristas, media creatives and cupcake aficionados the world over twitching with excitment, Tens is being hailed as "the real life photo filter" eyewear, bringing colourful tints to everyday life without the need for smartphones, tablets or computers.

Tens works with the sun to set a one-of-a-kind-tint, as opposed to normal lenses, which desaturate light and block out colour.

Available in black, navy, red and teal, the lenses appear exclusively on crowd-funding site Indiegogo.com

With their £9,400 goal already met, the Tens will be available for shipment from the 8 June.
