Introducing The Wood Blanket

It's been a crazy year. Rappers have come back from the dead. Dramas about Titantic are still being made. Next thing you know, they'll be making blankets out of wood. Oh, wait. 

Called Wooden Textiles, this is the creation of designer Elisa Strozyk.The idea came to Strozyk in graduate school, when she saw a picture of a water warped parquet floor. She cut strips of wood into geometric shapes, attaching them to a base and allowing it to function as a blanket.

It's a great idea, although we'll stick to wool for now. And the fact that inviting someone to snuggle under your wooden blanket could go either way.
