Google Has Started Building Self-Driving Cars

Google has teamed up with Ford supplier Roush Performance to build driverless cars which will be ready to go to market in 2020

Google and Roush Performance (a Ford supplier) are already hard at work building driverless cars in Michigan.

Teams split between the Detroit area and Google's home in Mountain View, California are assembling 150 pod-shaped driverless cars for testing at Google headquarters. The hope is to have cars ready to go to market in five years that are 100 percent autonomous. There's not even a steering wheel.
