The new Sony Walkman

You may regard it as quaint, but some of us still like to keep our music and phones separate. The proof? There’s a serious market for high-end PMPs (portable media players) out there – just look at the iPod Touch and Samsung Galaxy Player. Now Sony is set to enter the fray with its brand new Sony Walkman Z1000 series.

You still get an Android 2.3 device - access to the Android Market and Google services - and a media player with Walkman’s considerable nouse (including SensMe tech to automatically categorise music based on BPM to suit your mood and the S-Master MX digital amplifier to balance noise levels andreduce distortion).
