If you can't wait for the Apple Watch, there's a whole world of smartwatches out thereMore
Thinner than all its Android Wear alternatives and the Apple Watch, the impressive Moto 360 packs pedometer, heart rate monitor, showerproof-ness and wireless Qi charging, which may turn out to be its best feature (are we really ready to remember to plug our watches in every day?) When it’s launched (soon!) we reckon this will be the best wearable on the market.

As in ‘tick tock’, yeah? This outside bet it proper Dick Tracy fare: it includes speech recognition technology to allow users to dictate replies to text messages and has a processor fast enough to refresh images at such a rate, you could use it for squinting at – sorry, watching – videos. The e-ink display is sharp as you like, but it’s also the heaviest of the bunch. Looks like a vision of the future from Tomorrow’s World which depending on your hipster orientation is either a plus or a minus. Or you're too young to remember Tomorrow's World.
