Sapong, who’s hard to age under the voluminous woolly hat that contains his dreadlocks, has been cutting hair professionally since the Eighties. Over the years he’s accrued a peerless client list, which currently includes Bryan Ferry, Jude Law, Orlando Bloom and Justin Timberlake, and we too can attest to his skill with the scissors. He currently favours a contemporary short back and sides, as worn by actor Andrew Garfield, for its “air of refinement.” £420 for a consultation, www.johnniesapong.com
