However useful and convenient rucksacks are, and in spite of the plethora of styles now available, it's still not easy to find ones that look properly grown-up. Which is why this design by Makr deserves closer attention. Makr, the brainchild of Jason Gregory, started making accessories as a side project back in 2005. The US-based Gregory makes everything stateside, using local production facilities for the larger items and his own studio to create wallets and other small accessories. And, more importantly, they've created a rucksack (Flatspot, £100) that doesn't feel like it should come with a baseball cap.
