We're not sure when the shift occurred, but suddenly the iPad case is the number one offering from designers across the globe. Ralph Lauren, Bill Amberg, Tods, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Valextra and even Dior Homme have all produced versions, and it's a remarkable demonstration of Apple's brand power.
It's also a brave move on the part of the designers, given the relative youth of the iPad. Though it's a relief to see that each brand has stuck with its core design values. Consequently, Dior Homme's matte offering is a sultry shade of matte black, Bill Amberg's are available in a host of soft leathers, while Ralph Lauren's is a jaunty tartan. Just be sure to buy an iPad first.
