One of the more subtle trends we've been noticing this winter is the sudden spat of elasticated cuffs popping up (or off) in unusual places.
We've seen them finishing off trouser legs for some time now and, while the result is a little more JLS than we're accustomed to, we appreciate the sentiment. Philip Lim recently put cuffs on some otherwise smart looking grey trousers, the effect? An interesting take on the sport luxe trend.
The other place you'll no doubt have spotted them is on jackets. To be specific, jackets which aren't bombers. Robert Geller popped one on the sleeve of a blazer recently which, as far as we can tell, is still designed to be worn to smart functions.
Given that this is a relatively cheap way of updating a garment, it's a trend we've seen proliferate the high street at a remarkable rate. Though the usage of cuffing on trousers is dying down, the cuffed-blazer look is in its infancy. One to watch.
