The good news is there's still time to enter this year's Virgin Media Shorts competition, which offers would-be filmmakers the chance to showcase their efforts on TV, in cinemas, on mobile phones and online.
The Grand Prize winning short, selected from a shortlist of 12, also collects up to £30,000 funding, and the opportunity to work with Virgin Media and the UK Film Council’s New Cinema Fund to make their next short film.
The bad news, however, is you've only got until midday on June 23 - next Tuesday. Still, last year's winning film - The Black Hole from Phil Sampson and Olly Williams - was shot over one day in an office in Twickenham. So, no excuses. Register here.
