The return of the mutton chop?

Brad Pitt and Jude Law's recent fliratations with the moustache - soon to be seen in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes respectively - may have contributed to a mini-revival for the furry face-slug. But never one to be underestimated (we're still recovering from his gotta-sing-gotta-dance extravaganza at the Oscars), Hugh Jackman is upping the stakes in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Get ready for the return of the mutton chop. Of course, Hugh's worn them before in the X-Men series - and that weird Shakin' Stevens hairdo - but this time he's roped Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth (before he went full-on Wookie) into sideboard action. Schreiber, too, is a handsome man upon whose cheeks facial hair can be forgiven, but we're still not sure we could pull off the whole John-McCririck-toby-jug look.

And it doesn't end there. Liam Gallagher's launching a clothing label, Pretty Green, and while we couldn't see a lot of clothing in the promotional video he made, we can see that he too is embracing the muskrat sideburns.
